These Coherent 532 nm
Single Frequency Lasers are diode-pumped, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG
lasers using all solid state construction and the patented STAR TM
ring resonator geometry. Compact and rugged air-cooled housings contain
both the laser resonator and the power supply. These lasers warm-up
in <5 minutes and are equally suitable for laboratory, factory
and OEM applications.
STAR Ultra-stable Frequency-Doubling
The infrared pump beam, emitted by a thermoelectrically-cooled diode
laser, is focused into a Nd:YAG gain medium in a ring resonator, the
patented STAR (Single-frequency Tight Angle Ring) resonator. This
ring design eliminates spatial hole burning and its associated longitudinal
mode instabilities. |
